Charles Barkley has reportedly agreed to a new contract with TNT that could keep him on "Inside the NBA" for the next decade. Barkley's deal is worth at least $100 million over the next 10 years, and the contract is likely to be worth close to $200 million, according to The New York Post's Andrew Marchand.

Barkley had three years left on his deal, earning a yearly salary of $10 million, Marchand reports. TNT's TV deal with the NBA expires after the 2024-25 season, but the two sides are likely to come to a new agreement.

According to Sports Business Journal's John Ourand, all four "Inside the NBA" on-air personalities have all signed contract extensions to remain with TNT beyond the 2024-25 season. Barkley, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal have all been full-time members of the cast since 2011.

Barkley has talked about retiring within the next few years. It's possible that he won't fulfill his entire contract with TNT.

Barkley is the biggest star of the show and arguably the most popular analyst in the history of professional sports. He is just the latest sports media personality to receive a contract with a salary that is well north of what many of the players are making.

More than 450 players are under contract with an NBA team. Only 63 players are making a salary of $20 million or more for the 2022-23 season.

Tom Brady reportedly has a 10-year $375 million contract with Fox waiting for him when he retires from the NFL. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are reportedly being paid $33 million combined per year to call "Monday Night Football" for ESPN.

Tony Romo reportedly earns about $18 million per season with CBS.
