"Chicago Fire" will get even hotter in Season 4 -- and it's not just because of the fires they'll be fighting. Steven R. McQueen will be making his way to Firehouse 51 as potential fireman Jimmy Borelli and taking on flames of both fire and love.

Entertainment Weekly reported Brett (Kara Killmer) and Chili (Dora Madison) will take an interest in Borelli. Executive producer Matt Olmstead said there's going to be a rivalry between Chili and Brett to win over McQueen's character. One of the two will eventually give in to the other, creating a new romantic relationship.

"Everybody else has dated each other or are in relationships or out of relationships -- those are the three most available characters. We’re playing a little bit of a bake-off in terms of who likes the McQueen character," Olmstead dished.

Borelli will be a newbie fireman, who will make a “dramatic entrance” on his first day, according to TV Line. His rough start will irritate Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) and he’ll have to clean up his act if he wants to stick around. As of right now, McQueen is scheduled to appear on a recurring basis.

McQueen will join fellow "Vampire Diaries" star Taylor Kinney, who plays Kelly Severide. McQueen left "Vampire Diaries" in Season 6, when his character, Jeremy, decided to hunt vampires outside Mystic Falls.

"Chicago Fire" Season 4 is expected to pick up right where Season 3 left off, as the search for Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) continues. "Chicago P.D." officers will try to find the kidnapped fireman before it's too late.
