Fans who tune into NBC to watch “Chicago Med” Season 4, episode 9 on Wednesday night will be disappointed to learn the medical drama will not air for another week. Instead, the network is scheduled to broadcast the “86th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center.”

Viewers, who tune into NBC tonight will be able to watch the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in New York City. The event will feature classic holiday songs performed by the likes of John Legend, Diana Ross, Kellie Pickler and more.

Unfortunately for “Chicago Med” fans, that means another week without the popular medical series. However, when Season 4, Episode 9 returns, viewers will watch a bunch of drama unfolds as Will (Nick Gehlfuss) and Natalie’s (Torrey DeVitto) wedding day finally arrives.

“Will and Natalie prepare for their big day, but an unsuspecting Will soon finds himself sidetracked. Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) disagrees with Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) on how to best handle a patient's treatment,” the “Death Do Us Part” synopsis teases.

“Choi (Brian Tee) and April (Yaya DaCosta) are on their own when a pregnant woman delivers. Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) finds himself operating on a patient that is of great importance to Det. Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer),” the synopsis says.

“Chicago Med” Season 4, episode 9 is expected to air on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
