Update: 1:52 a.m. EDT — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Chris Brown has been released on a $2,000 bond after he was arrested for an out of county warrant.

Original story:

Singer Chris Brown was arrested for an outstanding warrant following a concert at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida, Thursday, TMZ reported.

Several police officials were waiting in the wings and as soon as the singer wrapped up the event, he was directly taken into a police cruiser.

It is currently unclear what the warrant was for. Brown is currently on his “Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour” which was launched on June 19 in Seattle.

The R&B mainstay is not new to legal troubles and was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in 2016.

Brown was court-ordered to live in the Malibu treatment facility for anger management therapy. In 2014, he was kicked out of a rehab for violating the facility’s rules and was sentenced to 131 days in jail for his probation violation.

Brown was also arrested in 2013 on a felony assault charge in Washington D.C. after he got into a physical altercation with a man.

Brown and his entourage were also involved in a scuffle with singer Frank Ocean over a parking issue outside a West Hollywood recording studio in 2013.

Ocean said that the singer threatened to shoot him by saying, "We can bust you too!"

Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats in 2009 after he physically attacked his former girlfriend Rihanna, who suffered facial injuries and was hospitalized, People reported.

He was asked to serve 180 days in jail or the equivalent in labor-oriented service.

In June 2010, Brown was planning a short tour in the U.K. but was denied a visa over the assault case. “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns. Each application to enter the UK is considered on its individual merits,” U.K.’s home office wrote.

In March 2011, he threw a tantrum and broke chairs backstage after a “Good Morning America” interview during which he asked about the incident with Rihanna. “I felt like, OK, they told us this to get us on the show and exploit me. I took it very, very hard,” he told USA Today, adding he had settled with ABC on talking only about his new album.

“She hated me. After that, I tried everything. She didn't care, she just didn't trust me after that. From there, it just went downhill because it would be fights, it would be verbal fights, physical fights as well. Mutual sides, it is the first time I get to say anything,” he spoke about the incident in his documentary “Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life.”

This is a breaking story.
