Although Chris Brown was finally served with the restraining order papers filed by his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, it looks like the “Privacy” singer will opt out of making a court appearance when lawyers for both parties face a judge on Tuesday.

Brown, whose ex-girlfriend is seeking a permanent restraining order against him, will not be present in the courtroom and neither will Tran, according to TMZ. From the looks of the “Party” tour artist’s Instagram account, the singer seems far from bothered when it comes to his ongoing drama with his ex-girlfriend.

On Tuesday, Brown posted a video of himself goofing around and dancing at a roller skating rink as a female who is off camera cheers him on. The 28-year-old captioned the upbeat video with the hashtag “Love will win.”

It is unclear exactly what the singer was referring to but he seems to be in a positive place following all of the drama that he has been at the center of. Brown’s lawyers are scheduled to appear in court after the singer was finally served with the restraining order that Tran filed in February.

Although the actress currently has a temporary restraining order against her boyfriend, it will expire soon and she is hoping for an extended amount of protection.

The actress, who will not appear in court due to her obligations of filming her new TNT series “Claws” in New Orleans, has claimed that the singer physically attacked her several times during the course of their relationship from 2010-2015. Despite being unable to appear in court, Tran will reportedly testify on the phone.

The actress decided to file a restraining order after Brown allegedly threatened to kill her. The actress claims that her ex-boyfriend has threatened to shoot and kill her and has said if he couldn’t have her then no one would. Brown allegedly also told people that he would take her out.

Tran also claimed that during the course of their relationship, the singer has punched her in the stomach on several occasions and has pushed her down the stairs.

Although Tran states she is in fear for her life, sources close to Brown told TMZ that the singer feels like she filed the restraining so she could freely date Quavo from the rap group Migos, who Brown considered a friend.

In early May, the rapper took to Instagram to comment on his restraining order, hinting that Tran filed the restraining order to gain recognition for her new show. He also claimed that she slandered him to garner attention.

“Nobody will care about them if my name isn’t involved. I want nothing to do wit her… you think I wanna chase or still be with someone who would try to destroy me??? She doesn’t need a restraining from me. I need one from them,” Brown wrote in the comment section of Baller Alert after the account shared a report about the restraining order.

The actor also accused his ex-girlfriend of trying to use his past against him. “I pled guilty in the Rihanna case because I was. I refuse to allow these evil hearted people to label me and lie because they think it will skyrocket their career. Just stay away from me,” Brown wrote.

In 2009, during Grammy Awards weekend, Brown was arrested for assault after attacking his then girlfriend Rihanna. The singer served some jail time and was sentenced to five years probation.

Brown and Tran’s teams are scheduled to head to court on Tuesday where a judge is expected to make a decision on Tran’s request for a permanent restraining order.
