Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are back to recreate the magic of “Captain America” and “Black Widow” from their Marvel days in a new Dexter Fletcher movie “Ghosted.”

This movie will be a high-concept romantic action-adventure in the vein of “Romancing The Stone,” the 1984 adventure movie that starred Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.

The movie will be an “Apple Studios” project that will be written by “Deadpool” and “Zombieland” writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. It’s the latest deal for David Ellison’s Skydance, who recently produced “The Tomorrow War” starring Chris Pratt.

Johansson and Evans were last seen together in the “Avengers” movie series. Besides “Avengers,” the duo have also worked together on projects like “The Perfect Score” and “The Nanny Diaries.”

Ever since the announcement of them starring together in a romantic action movie, fans have been super excited to see their favorite stars together on screen.

“You had me at 'Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans to star in the romantic action movie.' I'M SOLD," one fan tweeted.

Another fan reposted a sweet video shared by Evans on his Twitter and wrote “a romantic action movie starring Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans? SIGN ME TF UP”

Meanwhile, yet another expressed their happiness writing “Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson in a new movie together FCUKKKRKDHKDKSS”

“Ghosted” marks Johansson’s second project after she was reported to have joined the cast of Wes Anderson’s upcoming untitled film. Both these movies have come amid her legal battle with Disney over “Black Widow.”

The 36-year-old actress recently filed a lawsuit against the streaming release of her MCU movie claiming the studio was in breach of contract for releasing the movie in theaters and OTT platforms simultaneously.

On the personal front, the “Black Widow” star recently welcomed a baby boy with her husband Colin Jost. The announcement was made by Jost in a hilarious Instagram post and also revealed their son's name to be Cosmo.

As for Evans, the actor is all set to be seen in Netflix’s upcoming film “The Gray Man” alongside Ana de Armas and Ryan Gosling.
