Comedian Jim Breuer has refused to take vaccine shots and announced he will be canceling shows at all venues that require proof of vaccination.

The 54-year-old comedian went live on Facebook over the weekend to share "quick updates" on his upcoming shows.

"Two quick updates on shows that you may think you may be getting tickets to or you already have tickets to The Wellmont Theater in New Jersey — not doing it," he said in the 22-minute video.

He further revealed canceling his performance at Royal Oak Theater in Michigan too.

"Due to the segregation of them forcing people to show up with vaccinations … I am also not doing those shows," he explained.

The former "SNL" performer admitted he's going to "sacrifice a lot of money" with his decision but maintained he is "not going going to be enslaved to the system or money."

Moreover, he noted that vaccination is supposed to be a "choice," so people who want to attend shows should not be "forced" and "bribed" to get jabbed.

"If you have anything else to say, I honestly don't care," Breuer added. "Due to, I have to stick to my morals, I have to stick to what I know is right."

The video became a trending topic on Twitter Tuesday.

While sharing NBC News' story on Breuer's video, a netizen wrote, "After 33 years of comedy Jim Breuer finally made me laugh."

Another netizen threw shade at the comedian while also chiding Nicki Minaj and Eric Clapton, writing, "Jim Breuer is the Nicki Minaj of Eric Clapton's."

It can be recalled that last month, Clapton also made a buzz after saying he will not perform at venues where proof of vaccination is required. As for Minaj, she recently faced backlash for sharing inaccurate information about COVID-19 vaccines.

However, some fans showed support for Breuer amid the controversy.

In response to a tweet sharing the comedian's viral video, one of his fans wrote, "Jezus, wish I had known he was touring. One of the greatest for sure. Would have loved to see him here in Michigan, but venue has a vaccine mandate. That's insane… I'm all for him canceling it. Another time."

Another supporter wrote, "Just want to send a thank you to @JimBreuer for standing by his morals and beliefs. I will definitely attend a show as soon as I can."

While Breuer and Clapton refused to perform at venues that require vaccination, comedian Patton Oswalt announced last week that he canceled shows in Utah and Florida because the venues would not ask guests to present proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

"This difficult decision was made due to the rising numbers of COVID cases and also because I have an ego, but my ego is not big enough to think that people should die to hear my stupid comedy," Oswalt told his fans via Instagram.

Breuer, who appeared on "SNL" from 1995 to 1998 and starred in the 1998 movie "Half Baked," was last seen in the 2019 TV special "Ken Jeong: Best Medicine."
