Ryan, Brandon and Dillan Morris (l. to r.) are missing. AMBER Alert

An AMBER Alert was issued Tuesday for three Vernon, Connecticut, boys who were believed to have been abducted by their mother.

Twins Brandon and Dillan Morris, 7, and 9-year-old Ryan Morris were reported missing Monday after their mother never returned her children to their biological father following a scheduled weekend visit, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

The children were believed to have been abducted by their mother, 32-year-old Jackie Morris. She is driving a 2004 red Volkswagen Jetta with Connecticut license plate 876YGJ. The center said Jackie Morris had no current address and may be living out of the car. She recently returned to Connecticut after living in Maine. Family members said that she “has a history of mental health ailments.”

Jackie Morris was described as being 5-foot-2 and 120 pounds and having brown hair and blue eyes. She reportedly has a crucifix tattoo on the back of her neck.

Anyone with information on the boys’ whereabouts was urged to call 911 or the Vernon Police Department at 860-872-9126.
