It’s been a question to a lot of basketball fans, particularly the Los Angeles Lakers faithful, who among the players tested positive for coronavirus. It was reported that there are two players who tested positive for the virus but their identities weren’t disclosed.

Other than the Lakers, Brooklyn Nets also didn’t disclose the identity of their three players who was hit by the virus, excluding their All-Star injured forward Kevin Durant; three members of the Philadelphia 76ers also tested positive for the virus but none of them were named – whether they were players or part of the team staff were also not released, and; Denver Nuggets who had one positive case but was not also revealed whether it is a player or not.

In an ESPN article, Lakers coach Frank Vogel was asked about who among their players were the ones who contracted the virus but the purple and gold’s first-year coach is just the same as everybody else – clueless.

"I don't even know who are they and I'm totally fine with that," said the 46-year old coach.

The team were tested after the announcement of the Nets that they have players who had acquired the viral disease and the Lakers was the last team that played Brooklyn just a week after the statement was made in public.

LA Lakers joined Brooklyn, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, and the Utah Jazz on the list of teams with players who are now symptom-free and was cleared by doctors from the disease. Christian Wood of the Pistons was the first one to be declared as “fully-recovered” per his agent Adam Pensack.

Jazz’ first-time All-Stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell were the first two players who tested positive for COVID-19 but was also medically cleared by the doctors a day after Wood’s clearance along with the entire Utah Jazz team and staff. Marcus Smart of the Celtics also announced his recovery on his social media after getting the clearance from the Massachusetts Department of Health.

Only the Nuggets, 76ers, and New York Knicks’ owner James Dolan are the only remaining cases that are waiting for their clearance.
