"Counting On" star Jedidiah "Jed" Duggar will soon be a father as his wife, Katey Nakatsu, is pregnant with their first child.

The 22-year-old "19 Kids and Counting" alum made the announcement Sunday via Instagram, sharing two photos of him with his 23-year-old wife. In the first picture, Jed and Katey share a sweet kiss while holding a sign that read: "And then there were 3." The second snap showed Jed carrying his wife as the two of them grin at the camera.

"She tested positive, but not for [COVID-19]," he joked in the caption.

According to the couple, their bundle of joy will arrive in spring 2022.

Jed's post was flooded with congratulatory messages from his friends, fans and siblings.

"Congrats you two! Loved the announcement," his brother Jason Duggar commented.

Jed's older sister Jessa Duggar Seewald wrote, "So so happy for y’all! You’re going to be the best parents!"

"So excited for you guys!!! And the video was great!" Joy Duggar Forsyth wrote.

The couple shared more details about the pregnancy in a video uploaded to their YouTube channel, including how they found out they were expecting their first child.

"We picked up a pregnancy test. I have been feeling kinda funny for the past few weeks. I have been having cramping, bloating, just different things that have been odd," Katey said. "I need to take a pregnancy test. If it's negative, we should go to a doctor and make sure everything is okay."

After seeing the result, Jed screamed, "It was positive! We having a baby!"

Jed — a twin and the 10th of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 kids — and Katey tied the knot in Arkansas in April after he quietly courted her in the past year.

"The couple was married in a private ceremony Saturday with family and close friends in attendance," a rep for the Duggars told People at the time. "It was a beautiful ceremony and the entire family is so happy for them."

Jed also confirmed the happy news by sharing their wedding photo on Instagram. He accompanied it with a sweet tribute to his wife.

"For a long time I have prayed for my future spouse, not knowing who that person would be," he wrote. "God answered my prayers far beyond what I could have ever imagined in Katey! We have enjoyed quietly developing our relationship over the past year and every moment together has been amazing! I’m so grateful God brought Katey into my life and excited to share with you all that today she became my wife!"

He added, "Katey, the thought of sharing the rest of my life with you makes me the happiest man in the world! I love you so much!! [red heart emoji] #happilyeverafter."
