Cristiano Ronaldo is going to be a dad of six as he has announced that he and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez are expecting twins.

The Portuguese soccer superstar, 36, made the announcement that he is expecting his second set of twins on Instagram Thursday, sharing a photo of him holding a sonogram image. In the snap, Ronaldo and Rodriguez, 27, are lying in bed together, with the model covering her body with a white blanket.

"Delighted to announce we are expecting twins," he wrote in the caption. "Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you. #blessed."

Ronaldo also included a sweet snap of him hanging out with his other four children: 4-year-old twins, Eva Maria and Mateo, 3-year-old daughter Alana Martina and 11-year-old son Cristiano Jr.

Peers, friends and fans of Ronaldo flocked to the comments section to congratulate him and Rodriguez.

"Congratulations, @Cristiano!" commented the official Instagram account of Manchester United, Ronaldo's current team.

"Brateeee," Besiktas player Miralem Pjanić wrote, "happy for YOU."

Fatih Karagümrük player Medhi Benatia, Inter Miami player Blaise Matuidi and former MMA star Michael Bisping all left heart emojis.

The mom of Ronaldo's eldest child, Cristiano Jr., remains anonymous by her request.

"With the agreement of the mother, who wishes to remain anonymous, I will have exclusive custody of my son," Ronaldo said on social media in 2010, according to E! News.

In 2017, the soccer superstar welcomed his twin son and daughter, Mateo and Eva. Their mom has also not been identified, and it has been reported that they were welcomed via a surrogate.

A month later, Ronaldo confirmed that Rodriguez was pregnant. They welcomed their daughter, Alana, in November 2017.

Rodriguez spoke with Hola after her boyfriend confirmed her first pregnancy. She appeared on the magazine's cover at the time in a black mini-dress, debuting her growing baby bump.

"I am very family-oriented and I love kids," she told the magazine.

In the interview, Rodriguez shared that her motto was "mens sana in corpore sano," a Latin statement that means "a healthy mind in a healthy body." According to her, she takes care of herself by staying active and eating balanced meals. She also eats natural products and avoids indulging in heavy meals.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since November 2016.
