DaBaby became a household name last year after his first two albums “Baby on Baby” and “Kirk” reigned supreme on the charts. But it’s possible that his success might be short-lived, since fans don’t seem to be enjoying his latest album, “Blame It on Baby.”

“Blame It on Baby” dropped at midnight Friday according to Billboard and now that fans have had a few hours to process the music, they are sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

DaBaby’s October 2019 album, “Kirk” opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. He initially anticipated that his new album would be a hit amongst fans as well.

“This album shows that no one is as versatile as me in the game right now; especially this early in their mainstream career,” he said. “During the creative process of ‘Blame It on Baby,’ I made sure that every single song had the potential to be a hit.”

However, fans seem to think differently. While with every artist there are songs that fans like and songs fans dislike, it seems fans have collectively agreed “Blame it On Baby” is “trash.”

Some fans are pointing out that the Charlotte, North Carolina rapper listened to suggestions made by fans to switch “the flow” rather than staying true to his sound.

Other fans are simply posting GIFS and video reactions to how they felt listening to certain songs on the tracklist.

Even with the inclusion of a long list of featured artists like, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Quavo, Ashanti, Future, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Boogie with da Hoodie, some fans seem to feel the artist rushed through his work and the result is a messy, jumbled playlist.

No word yet on whether DaBaby has caught on to his fans’ reactions and what his feelings will be on their disappointment.
