Ezekiel Elliott has tested positive for COVID-19, and the Dallas Cowboys running back appears unhappy that the news has been made public. After his agent confirmed to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Elliott was one of a few NFL players that tested positive for the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, the 24-year-old addressed the situation on Twitter.

Rapoport reported Monday morning that several players on the Cowboys and Houston Texans had tested positive for COVID-19. According to Elliott, his agent only confirmed the news after reporters called his agent all morning.

Rocky Arceneaux, Elliott’s agent, said the three-time Pro Bowl player was “feeling fine.” Rapoport noted that the Texans’ players that tested positive were also doing well and do not appear to be sick.

The players were not known to have been at their team facility.

“Due to federal and local privacy laws, we are unable to provide information regarding the personal health of any of our employees,” the Cowboys said in a statement.

In April, Los Angeles Rams center Brian Allen became the first NFL player to announce that he tested positive for COVID-19. Denver Broncos defensive end Von Miller said he tested positive for COVID-19 two months ago.

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert became the first athlete in a major American sport to test positive for COVID-19 on March 11, subsequently forcing the NBA to suspend its season the same day.
