Count Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones among those who believe President Donald Trump won’t have much trouble beating the coronavirus.

Hours after Trump announced that both he and Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, Jones said he’s confident the President will be able to keep working without any disruption.

“I want to express my sensitivity and concern for the President,” Jones told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. “No one in the world has the ability to handle this COVID any better than the office of the President of the United States. I'm very confident that he'll be able to continue governing. I'm sure he's anticipated this. Knowing him, he's the hardest worker you've ever seen. Knowing him, he'll be able to go right on through this and hopefully not miss a beat.”

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said Friday thatTrump is experiencing minor symptoms of the coronavirus and remains in “good spirits.” Trump was tested for the virus after adviser Hope Hicks tested positive Thursday.

Jones was discussing how the NFL will handle coronavirus outbreaks moving forward. Sunday’s scheduled game between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers has been postponed because seven Titans’ players have tested positive for the coronavirus this week.

It marks the NFL’s first postponement of the season.

Dozens of Major League Baseball and college football games have been postponed during the pandemic because of outbreaks within different teams. The NHL completed its season without any issues, and the NBA is about to do the same.
