Ben Higgins is ready to take on the ballroom! The 27-year-old Colorado native, who is set to star on this season’s “The Bachelor” when the 2016 installment premieres on Jan. 4, revealed that he already has an idea of what he wants to do when he leaves the bachelor mansion ... and it’s to dance!

During a press conference with reporters, the software salesman discussed his thoughts of competing on “DWTS” following his stint on the long-running ABC dating reality show -- a journey that several “Bachelor” alums, like Chris Soules and Sean Lowe, have taken.

"I think I'm excited about what experiences are next in life. Just like I never expected to be on ‘The Bachelorette,’ I never expected to be the ‘Bachelor,’ I don't know what to expect next and I'm open to anything," the bachelor said. “I have a great life. I love my life here in Denver. I don’t want to change my life, but if there’s opportunity to enhance it, I’m all for it!”

And so are we -- especially because we know Ben has a few, smooth dance moves up his sleeve. During last season of "The Bachelorette," Ben stole Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart when the two of them competed in a two-step competition together in one of the oldest dance halls in the country.

"Ben's doing pretty good, I think!" Kaitlyn spoke highly of Ben's dancing skills despite him being nervous.

Although the two managed to survive the first round of the competition, they were eventually tapped out during the second. But Ben wasn't phased. "I think I won," the smooth-talking suitor said. Hopefully, fans will get to see more of Ben's swoon-worthy moves if he does decide to pursue the Mirror Ball trophy. ABC, hop on that!

“The Bachelor” Season 20 premieres on ABC Monday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. EST. “Dancing With the Stars” will return for Season 22 in spring 2016.
