The clock is winding down! In just a few days our favorite hip-shaking ABC series, “Dancing With the Stars,” will return for its Season 22 premiere. That means the 12 competing couples will have to master their moves in less than a week if they want to wow the judges.

But according to the social media pages of celebrity contestants and their pro dance partners, it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of splitting and dipping going on in rehearsals. Instead of conquering the tango or foxtrot, the Season 22 pairs are working on other talents — like piano playing and pulling pranks.

According to Sasha Farber, who is paired up with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Fields, the new pro is in the middle of a prank war with his ballroom buddy. “Safe to say first prank was a success,” Sasha captioned a photo of Kim shrieking in horror. But Kim didn’t let her partner get the last laugh. Sasha shared a picture of himself covered in cake — a prank he revealed was concocted by his menacing partner.

Sasha and Kim aren’t the only ones horsing around during “DWTS” practice. Val Chmerkovskiy and his partner Ginger Zee of “Good Morning America” took a break from rehearsal to practice “Heart and Soul” on the piano.

“We should probably get back to practice,” Val quipped in the musical video.

But not everyone is fooling around on the dance floor! Antonio Brown proved he’s ready to earn MVP of the ballroom when he shared a video of him and his “DWTS” partner Sharna Burgess hard at work.

“It’s all coming together,” the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver captioned the toe-tapping footage. “@Sharnaburgess cookin up the dance moves #TeamBoomin.”

Meanwhile, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller revealed that his partner, Witney Carson, is whipping him into ballroom shape, teasing that she’s the “toughest Middle Linebacker” he has ever danced with. But Witney dished to “Entertainment Tonight” that’s just because she wants Von, one of three football stars competing this season, to excel in the competition.

“I cringed when I heard there were two other football players,” Witney said. “But we’ve just got to make him stand out!”

Fans can find out if the Season 22 contestants are prepared to take the dance floor when “Dancing With the Stars” premieres Monday, March 21, at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
