The first star of the season has been eliminated.

During Week 2 of “Dancing With the Stars,” one Season 22 couple on the hit ABC series was given the ballroom boot. And, unfortunately for fans of Geraldo Rivera and Edyta Śliwińska, the adorable dancing duo have officially ended their hip-shaking sojourn on the long-running show.

“She is fabulous and patient and talented and charismatic,” Geraldo gushed about his partner to “DWTS” co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. The journalist added that if he hadn’t been the one to get eliminated, then he “would have demanded a recount.”

Although Geraldo failed to earn a high score for his performances, he did manage to make progress between Week 1 and Week 2 of the competition. According to judge Carrie Ann Inaba, Geraldo found “a little bit of rhythm” during his Latin Night salsa routine.

“There was improvement,” she noted, revealing that his Week 2 dance — inspired by Republican U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump — left her giggling. “You didn’t make dance great again, but you did make me laugh,” she said during her critique of his politically themed routine.

Geraldo portrayed The Donald, sporting a disheveled blonde wig and tanned skin, during his Week 2 performance.

“Bad hair day?” judge Bruno Tonioli quipped after the dance, noting the performance was “impressive for all the wrong reasons.”

But Edyta explained that the reason they performed a parody routine was to help them have fun on the dance floor. “We just wanted to have a good laugh,” she said.

Well, they certainly gave us one.
