Julianne Hough may miss critiquing performances on “Dancing With the Stars” but the former judge of the hit ABC series says there’s a silverlining to not sitting beside Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman during the competition. Now that the 27-year-old “DWTS” champion is no longer judging routines, she’s allowed to have a favorite ballroom couple.

“It’s nice now because I can actually have favorites,” she told People magazine before divulging which dancing duo she’s rooting for. “I watched the premiere, and I was super-rooting for [Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris] because he did ‘Grease: Live’ with us.” (Morris portrayed one of Frenchy’s [Carly Rae Jepsen] guardian angels during the Fox special.)

In an Instagram post — that has since been deleted — Hough shared her support for Team Yayzee during Week 1 of the competition.

“Now that’s how you start week one,” she captioned the image of Morris and Arnold shaking it out on the dance floor. “On top!!!!!”

Morris and Arnold tied for the highest score of the night along with Ginger Zee and her ballroom buddy Val Chmerkovskiy as well as Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd — another couple that Hough cheered for during the premiere night of the 2016 spring installment.

Another benefit of taking time off from “DWTS” is that the entertainer is now able to pursue other interests.

"I will miss being on the panel ... but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing, ” Hough, who recently got engaged to hockey player Brooks Laich, said. “I’m at the point in my career where I need to focus on my personal career and make sure I’m doing what I’m doing.”

Although there are no upcoming projects on IMDb for Hough, the “Grease: Live” star has recently made her debut into the fashion world by collaborating on an athleisure collection with MPG.

My athleisure line is all about looking, feeling, and being efficient in your everyday,” the blond-haired beauty revealed in a blog post on her website. “Whether you’re flexing your muscles carrying kiddos, hauling groceries, schoolbooks, or actual gym weights, what you’re wearing will be the last thing you’ll have to think about. ”

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
