‘Dancing With The Stars’ Gleb Savchenko Slammed By Wife Amid Divorce, Chrishell Stause Rumors

Despite a statement indicating plans to keep things as civil as possible for their children, things are starting to get a little less civil between “Dancing With the Stars” pro Gleb Savchenko and his wife of 14 years, Elena Samodanova.

Savchenko took to Instagram Friday to announce that the pair were splitting up, and captioned a photo featuring them and their two daughters, Zlata and Olivia, by stating that they planned to co-parent peacefully in order to provide the best lives for their children. However, in an interview with People Magazine, Samodanova revealed that the reason for the split was because of years of infidelity on the ABC series pro’s part and that a recent affair, in particular, was the final straw.

“After 14 years of marriage, and multiple affairs, I’ve decided enough is enough. Gleb and I have created a family and multiple businesses together. But apparently, it just wasn’t enough to keep our marriage strong,” she told the magazine. “Gleb’s ongoing infidelity and a recent inappropriate relationship has created turmoil in our marriage and absolutely torn our family apart.”

“No wife should ever stand by and watch while another woman gifts her husband expensive presents, lures him out to dinner and seduces him at every turn,” she added. “Last night was the final straw, and I can no longer turn my head the other way. Mt trust in Gleb is irrevocably broken and it is time that I walk away and begin to heal so I can be the best version of myself for my girls.”

Samodanova’s comment comes after Savchenko’s most recent partner on the show, “Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause, took to her Instagram stories to deny she was the one Savchenko had an affair with, alluding to her own public divorce from Justin Hartley as she discussed the relationship that did form between them as they worked together on the show before their Nov. 2 elimination.

“Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone. As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more. I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time,” she said.

Savchenko first appeared as a pro on the ABC show during the 16th Season in 2013, where he danced with “Vanderpump Rules” star Lisa Vanderpump. He then became a permanent addition to the lineup during Season 23 in 2016 and has since danced with country singer Jana Kramer, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne, “Pretty Little Liars” actress Sasha Pieterse, college basketball star Arike Ogunbowale, comedian Nikki Glaser and country singer Lauren Alaina.

It’s unclear if any of the affairs Samodanova has alleged have occurred with anyone involved with the show.

The news of the couple’s split was also a shock, as Savchenko had posted a happy photo with Samodanova in honor of her birthday just one month before the announcement.
