Preorders for the limited edition Darth Vader PS4 console bundles have started. Sony Computer Entertainment

The force is strong with PlayStation 4, or at least it will be very soon. Disney held its D23 expo during the weekend, announcing on Sunday a Darth Vader PS4 console and wireless controller are slated for release later this year.

As a special limited edition system it will be released in two Star Wars bundles Nov. 17 with preorders starting “soon.” However, no pricing is yet available.

The Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle will include a 500GB console featuring an image of Darth Vader and the Star Wars logo across the top of the system, as well as a DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller “inspired by Darth Vader,” with the Star Wars logo on the touchpad.

It will include “Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition” and a digital voucher for “Super Star Wars,” “Star Wars: Racer Revenge,” “Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter,” and “Star Wars Bounty Hunter,” which will be available on PS4 for the first time.

The second bundle is named the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, which will include the console and controller as well as an exclusive hardware bundle kit. The kit has a copy of “Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition,” and some figures as well as the digital voucher for the four Star Wars classic titles. It will be be available only at Walmart.

Adam Boyes of Sony Computer Entertainment also mentioned there will be a standard-edition Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle with the system and controller in jet black.

Disney also announced a Star Wars-themed park will be introduced at the Hollywood Studios theme park in Florida and the Disneyland Park in California.
