He has had some suspicions that something is up with Nicole but hasn’t been able to quite figure out what it is. Now, with new intel from Will, Brady may finally get closer to the truth and realize that Kristen is not only alive but back in town on the Tuesday, August 20 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Ever since he started sleeping with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) again, Brady (Eric Martsolf) has been suspicious about something that seems off with her—and a shared trait she had with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who was believed to have died in the warehouse explosion in Tennessee on the NBC soap. He’s noticed that “Nicole” has scar tissue in the same place Kristen previously had a tattoo, and other stuff about her behavior has been making him wary. However, he has been unable to figure out just what isn’t sitting right—but that might change after Will (Chandler Massey) approaches him with some new information he has discovered.

“Will suggests to Brady that Kristen could still be alive,” spoilers reveal.

Will has been actively trying to solve Ted’s (Gilles Marini) murder and began looking into what Xander (Paul Tefler) might be hiding since he is the person everyone suspects is hiding the most. When he and Sonny (Freddie Smith) broke into his briefcase, they not only found diamonds and artifacts but discovered how wealthy Xander secretly was—and that his money had been funded through a shell corporation Kristen set up a year prior. Armed with this new information, he will go to Brady to reveal what he’s learned.

Of course, while it’s not concrete proof that Kristen is back and alive, and only shows that there is a connection between her and Xander (though it likely won’t reveal the full extent of their former partnership), it could be enough for Brady to also decide to try and investigate more as well.

However, the ability to uncover the whole truth may not come in time to prevent some major problems from unfolding in Salem once again, as the last time Kristen was in town was when she crashed John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) wedding a year ago—and their anniversary party is now around the corner as well, giving her another stage to use for causing trouble.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
