She has been pretending she ended her relationship with Ben when he went to prison for Jordan’s murder, but she has really still been devoted to him and trying to prove he was set up. However, as the last chance Ben has at avoiding the death penalty approaches, Ciara could find her secret getting out instead on the Friday, Jan. 3 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) arrest, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) immediately expected her grandfather, Victor (John Aniston) was behind Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause) murder on the NBC soap. Since then, she has worked up a plot to secretly act like she was over her romance with Ben and was devoted to life at Titan, while she actually was trying to get evidence that Victor and Xander (Paul Telfer) had committed the crime. However, she hasn’t had success so far, and time may be running out.

“Ciara supports Ben on the day of his final appeal,” spoilers reveal.

However, as she goes to try and help Ben with his last chance at avoiding the death penalty, the truth about her scheme is being discovered. Victor already had suspicions that she wasn’t really seeing Will (Chandler Massey) at the prison and Xander knows she tried breaking into his safe. Now. As they compare notes, they will realize she is working against them, which could have severe consequences for both her and Ben.

“Xander and Victor realize Ciara has been playing them,” spoilers state.

If Ciara is truly at risk of being exposed, the consequences of the truth could be more than she ever expected. Not only could it end with Ben going down for a murder he didn’t commit, but it could see some other issues as well within her family—ones that could change things for them forever.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
