They have been struggling with the news that he has a brain tumor since it came right as they were finally given the chance to truly reunite and have a future together again. Now, Will’s health could take another horrific turn and put his future with Sonny fully at risk on the Tuesday, April 16 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) marriage to Leo (Greg Rikaart) was finally annulled, Will (Chandler Massey) passed out and after a series of tests at the hospital, a diagnosis came back that he had a brain tumor on the NBC soap. Since then, the two have been bracing for the worst as they try and figure out what it means for their plans to be together again, but now, they could be forced to plan a goodbye—as Will’s condition continues to deteriorate.

“Will has a scary episode at the hospital” spoilers reveal.

A preview clip for the week’s episodes (see above) that Will seems to be having a seizure, as a horrified Sonny looks on and Rex (Kyle Lowder) desperately tries to help him. If the tumor is causing that, it could mean that Will’s situation is more drastic than previously believed—and it could be perilous.

The situation with his tumor could be more dangerous than anyone expected, resulting in emergency treatment to try and diagnose it in full as quickly as possible, since finding out if it is cancerous or something else will be the thing that determines if he has a chance to survive. However, there could be other consequences as well.

If the tumor isn’t cancerous, there are other things that could happen as a result. If it affects his brain the wrong way, it could also hurt his memories—which he only got back a few months ago. If he starts to once again forget his past with Sonny, it could further delay the couple’s chances at a happy reunion.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
