He wound up being arrested after the exchange to give John back to Marlena, but Orpheus seemed to be obsessed with getting revenge on John. Now, his last surprise for the super couple will be unveiled on the Tuesday, May 26, episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) has revealed several different things he has been responsible for since his arrival back in Salem on the NBC soap. Not only did he cause the accident that killed both Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby, but he has successfully kidnapped both baby David and John (Drake Hogestyn), and demanded a $10 million ransom from Marlena (Deidre Hall) in order to get him back—with the intention of fleeing with David for good.

While the exchange for the money and John seemed to go smooth, things changed when Steve (Stephen Nichols) managed to taser him, and Orpheus is now in police custody. However, he also managed to secretly plant a bomb under John and Marlena’s couch—and the couple may now finally realize that he wasn’t finished with them after all, and they were more than just pawns in his attempt for financial gain.

“Orpheus has one last trick up his sleeve for Marlena and John,” spoilers reveal.

While John was in captivity, Orpheus reflected on all of their clashes over the years, and seemed obsessed with making his former friend pay—and the bomb could be the way to ensure he does.

Meanwhile, Orpheus’ daughter, Zoey (Alyshia Ochse), has also been caught in her lies and was tracked to a warehouse, where she pulled a gun on Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and ranted about how she had no choice but to aide her father in his schemes, stating that not only did she have to protect her nephew, but also her son. Before she reveals what she means however, it appears that things will take an unexpected turn.

“Rafe is shot,” spoilers state.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
