They both put their romantic lives on hold following the truth about him being Mickey’s father getting out and their then dealing with her cancer diagnosis. However, Sarah and Eric will both make decisions regarding their futures on the Tuesday, Feb. 4 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After learning the truth about his daughter, Eric (Greg Vaughan) ended his engagement to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) since she had known the truth and helped keep it a secret for a year on the NBC soap. Since then, Eric has been led to believe she was back with Brady (Eric Martsolf) since the two were faking a relationship to keep Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) away, which has caused more problems for them, even as Eric has looked more towards reconciling. Now, following Nicole confessing to him that she and Brady were never an item, it appears the two will finally put their drama aside and get their relationship back on track.

“Eric and Nicole reconcile,” spoilers reveal.

Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) has been keeping the slightly budding relationship she’s had with Xander (Paul Telfer) at bay as well since Eric initially didn’t want the man who pretended to be Mickey’s father anywhere near his daughter. Now though, she will finally admit to Xander how she feels and will be prepared to give a romance with him a real shot.

“Sarah declares her love for Xander,” spoilers state.

However, even as she prepares to finally give him a chance and makes his dream come true, a huge secret he has been keeping from her could threaten everything they could have in the future. As it turned out, after Sarah gave birth last Mother’s Day, Mickey died in the hospital because of complications from the car accident that Sarah and Adrienne (Judi Evans) were in. Desperate to make sure that Sarah didn’t feel the heartbreak, Xander switched the ID bracelets on Mickey and Rachel—the little girl Brady and Kristen welcomed that same night—letting the other couple believe their daughter was dead instead. If the truth ever gets out, especially as everyone desperately searches for a bone marrow match for Mickey, it could jeopardize everything Xander hopes to have with the woman he loves.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
