Derek Hough recently opened up about his sister Julianne Hough’s husband, Brooks Laich.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight on Sunday, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro said that he loves Laich and that his brother-in-law is an amazing man. When asked how Julianne and Laich have been since they tied the knot, Hough said that they are adjusting well to their new status.

“They’re adjusting fantastically. When I mean adjusting, like, you know how people say, ‘Does life change when you get married?’ In their case, it has and for the absolute better,” he said.

The Laichs tied the knot on July 8 near the Coeur d’Alene in Idaho. Their beautiful outdoor wedding was attended by Derek, as well as Julianne’s best friend, Nina Dobrev. “The Vampire Diaries” actress also served as bridesmaid to the “Dancing With the Stars” judge.

After their wedding ceremony, Julianne spoke with People and admitted that she never really thought of her wedding day growing up. “But I will cherish and remember it for the rest of my life,” she said.

Meanwhile, Hough also opened up about the upcoming second season of “World of Dance,” which was announced by NBC in July. According to him, Season 2 will be much bigger compared to Season 1. “It’s gonna be like 26 hours of episodes, so it’s gonna be fantastic and amazing – bigger and better than ever than our first season,” he said.

Last season, Les Twins was crowned as winners of “World of Dance.” Lagging closely behind them was 14-year-old contemporary dancer, Eva Igo. After weeks of competition and several performances, it was Les Twins who brought home the cash prize of $1 million.

Additionally, Hough also hinted on the possibility of performing with fellow judges Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo in Season 2. “We might have some performances ourselves, me and the judges. We might get out there and dance. We’re gonna step it up a notch, definitely, so we’re excited about it,” he said.

But just like Season 1, there will be different categories throughout the entire season.

“World of Dance” Season 2 will premiere on NBC next year.
