Alas Ramus, the girl who came out of an apple, claims Maou and Emi are her parents in "The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" Season 2, Episode 2.

The official website has released the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 2. It is a mystery as to how Alas knows Maou's true identity as a Satan. Maou and the others, who are shocked by her claims, are eager to know who sent her to Japan.

There are a lot of questions that need to be answered concerning Alas and her past. For the time being, Maou and the rest decide to protect her at the Demon Castle.

However, the little girl misses Emi as she keeps crying at night. Even Suzuno could hear her cries through the walls. Ashiya and Sasaki step in to help Alas adjust to modern-day Japan.

"In the parallel of Ente Isla, they were the Overlord and the Hero. But in modern-day Tokyo, they are hardworking employees of the modern world under new identities, Sadao Maou and Emi Yusa. Along with his two confidants at the Overlord's Castle, and a loving high school girl, Chiho, Maou is getting used to life in Japan, while also struggling with the rough economic times. "The Overlord's Castle is tasked with raising a child, while visitors from Ente Isla keep coming in. They also have to work to support the people living in the Overlord's Castle, which is a miserable six-mat room! And so the part-timer Overlord's folksy fantasy unfolds once again in the second season of the anime!" it continued.

The anime is based on the original story by Satoshi Wagahara. It is illustrated by 029.

The opening theme song of "The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" Season 2, titled "WITH," is performed by Minami Kuribayashi. The ending theme song, "Mizukagami no Sekai," is by Marina Horiuchi.
