The Wednesday night Powerball drawing did not result in a grand prize winner for the $441 million jackpot with a cash value of $317.5 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday, Dec. 29 were 2, 6, 9, 33, 39. The Powerball number was 11 with a Power Play 2X.

Since the latest jackpot has gone unclaimed, the next drawing will take place Saturday night. The jackpot will grow to an estimated $483 million with a cash payout of $347.7 million.

Even though there wasn’t a grand prize lottery winner for the Wednesday drawing, one player managed to become an instant millionaire. A player from Georgia hit the Match 5 and won $1 million.

If the player would have hit the Match 5 with a Power Play purchase, it would have put their winnings for the night at $2 million.

Along with the lone millionaire, there were several smaller prizes. Forty-five players matched the four white ball numbers and the red Powerball, winning $50,000.

Meanwhile, there were eight players that hit the Match 4 and the red Powerball, winning $100,000 due to a Power Play purchase. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $200.

The latest drawing comes after a South Carolina player won a second-place prize from the Christmas night drawing. The player purchased the ticket at a Refuel gas station in Summerville.

Although the player has yet to claim their prize, the South Carolina ticket lottery winners have about six months to claim their prize.

The Powerball costs $2 per play. To win the jackpot, a player must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Five numbers need to be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
