Prince William and Kate Middleton extended an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after allegedly snubbing them.

On Monday, the royal family reunited for the Commonwealth service. Prince Harry and Markle, who announced in January that they were stepping back from their royal roles, were present at the event.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared photos from the gathering on Instagram. According to Jessica Green of Daily Mail, they could be extending an olive branch to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after a frosty meeting.

Prince William and Middleton shared highlights from the event and every member of the royal family was featured in the shots including Prince Harry and Markle, which delighted their fans.

“Love how everyone was included in these pics. Shows real class,” one commented.

“The class on this account is unreal. Like seriously ascend to the throne already,” another added.

“This post screams class and magnanimity. You guys absolutely rock,” another royal follower opined.

“Always behaving with grace. Beautiful pictures,” a different user added.

Prior to the post on Instagram, Prince William and Middleton were accused of snubbing Prince Harry and Markle at the Commonwealth service. The Sussexes were caught on camera saying, “Hello.” The Duchess of Sussex even waved at them. Prince William briefly acknowledged Markle while Middleton didn’t look at them.

Twitter users were quick to criticize the future king and queen. According to them, Prince William and Middleton only made things worse by being cold toward the Sussexes.

“OMG look at this! That looks like a blatant snub by William and Kate,” one wrote.

“I'm sad about this...didn't acknowledge each other,” a different user opined.

However, according to royal correspondent Rebecca English, Prince William and Middleton tried to be there for Prince Harry and Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly upset after Queen Elizabeth II dropped them from the main VIP party.

Prince Harry and Markle were allegedly told to make their own way to their seats at the front of Westminster Abbey and wait alongside Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

Prince William and Middleton who were set to join Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles, tried to defuse the tension by opting to join the Sussexes and Wessexes instead.
