Prince William and Kate Middleton's daughter, Princess Charlotte, will be attending school soon.

According to Hello!, Princess Charlotte's first day of school was set on Thursday. However, Kensington Palace has not confirmed when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's daughter will start attending her classes. The publication thinks that she will join her nursery class at a later date than what was scheduled.

The palace has not shared any photos of Princess Charlotte in her school yet, so she might have missed the first day of her class. As of now, it is believed Prince William, Middleton, Princess Charlotte and Prince George are still in Bucklebury where they celebrated the New Year with the Middletons. In addition, Prince George is not due back at school until Tuesday.

According to an insider, Princess Charlotte will be going to school five times a week. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge opted to have their daughter attend the morning class. The school costs £3,050 ($4, 080) per term.

"Charlotte will be attending five days a week in the mornings only," the insider told Us Weekly. According to the same source, Prince William and Middleton opted to choose a new school for Princess Charlotte "because it's a traditional nursery with high standards."

When Prince George was in the nursery, he attended Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk. At the time, the four-year-old royal tot is attending Thomas's Battersea in London.

Although Princess Charlotte's attendance on Thursday remains unconfirmed, the Buckingham Palace Shop promotes its Back to School gifts for a "first day at nursery," The Telegraph reported. This is just in time as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's child prepares for her first day at nursery too.

The suggested items include a colorful headwear with gold and shining red velvet and soft fake fur trim that costs £8.95 ($12.14). Another suggestion is the Guardsman teddy bear (£17.95 or $24.34).

It remains unknown when Princess Charlotte will start nursery but multiple sources confirmed that she will start it this month. Also, it is guaranteed that Prince William and Middleton will escort her on her first day of school.
