Princess Diana made no qualms about revealing Prince Charles’ infidelities following their divorce, but a bombshell new report claims that she too had her own affairs prior to the marriage ending.

According to Express UK, Evening Standard royal correspondent Robert Jobson actually now claims that Diana’s comment that there were “three people” in the marriage was inaccurate, as there were actually about “five” due to her own alleged affairs.

“To be fair to the Prince of Wales, Princess Diana also had affairs,” he allegedly said at the London Press Club In Conversation event. “Really there were about five people in the marriage.”

Jobson didn’t specify who Diana’s alleged affairs were with, or how the math came out to consist of five different people.

However, even if Princess Diana was having her own affair, her former protection officer Inspector Ken Wharfe revealed that it may have been because she was growing weary of Camilla Parker Bowles always being present, especially since she likely did love her husband at one point.

“Camilla was always there and that was difficult for Diana,” he told Express. “When people say to me ‘did Diana ever love the Prince of Wales?’ I think honestly she did. I do believe that.”

Prince Charles and Princess Diana famously divorced in 1996. She passed away after a tragic car accident in Paris one year later. Her boyfriend at the time, Dodi Fayed, also died as a result of the crash.
