Diplo, 40 might team up with the American rapper, Travis Scott, 28, once again for another song. But that could be possible only if Travis Scott decides to reply to Diplo’s texts.

The famous duo first worked together for “Know No Better,” which topped the charts in 2017. It seems Diplo had run into Scott at a FIRE festival and the “Oh My / Dis Side” singer asked him to collaborate for another song. Later they exchanged their numbers.

The following day Diplo saved the number and texts Scott only to realize that he already has Scott’s number. What's shocking is Diplo had desperately texted Scott 15 times over the past five years and the rapper had not responded to any one of those.

After posting a picture of him and Scott, Diplo wrote on his Instagram, “Hey let's make another song "Me: "What's your new number?" He adds, “Also I look dumb in this picture because I’m mid-conversation about a really fire beat I made." He also posted a screenshot of his texts to the rapper.

The first text was “Wes/Diplo, lock me in," followed by “hey what’s up bro, text me up.” Diplo again sent a text back in April saying, “it’s Diplo think something might be wrong with my texts … hit me back.” Diplo sent two more texts saying, “Yo Trav you must be super busy lol I know how it goes anyways hit my line my guy." And the last text said, “are you mad at me”

Scott, who is in relationship with Kylie Jenner, hasn’t responded to any of those texts. But other celebrities like Ruby Rose, Ryan Tedder, Marshmellow, Miguel have commented on the DJ's post.

Hopefully Diplo’s Instagram stunt did work and he finally caught the attention of the rapper. In any case fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the two Grammy nominees to create another hit song.

The two artists previously came together along with Camila Cabello and Quavo to create “Know No Better” in 2017. The song turned out to be massive hit, which helped them win Teen Choice Award for Electronic/Dance Song and Best Trending Track at the WDM Radio Awards.

Whether they get another hit or not, both are enjoying their successful careers. Astroworld, Travis Scott’s recent album, topped the Billboard 200 and picked numerous Grammy nominations; Diplo won a Grammy this year for his hit song “Electricity”, featuring Dua Lipa.
