They’ve been doing everything they can to squash rumors of a feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, but the release of two separate holiday cards featuring the Cambridge and Sussex families is only adding more fuel to the royal fire.

Middleton and Prince William released one holiday card featuring the pair dressed casually with their three children, Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte. The image sees all five posing outside their Anmer Hall home on a tree branch, with baby Louis in his mother’s lap while his older siblings pose adorably while holding on to their father.

Meanwhile, Harry and Markle also released their own holiday greeting, which was a never-before-seen photo from their May 19 nuptials. The pair is seen from behind as they watch the fireworks during their evening reception at Frogmore House.

However, these two separate cards, which may be another sign of the alleged split the brothers have planned for the future of the monarchy, could be seen as a confirmation that the two Duchess’ themselves are feuding, despite reports to the contrary.

On a recent episode of the “Royally Obsessed” podcast, royal writers Kaitlin Menza and Lisa Ryan speculated on how releasing a joint card could help squash the rumors of an alleged feud.

“What if they released a joint Christmas card? Just a barrel of laughs, we all love each other, like no harm, no foul,” the women said.

However, since the couples opted for different cards, which also reflect very different styles, it will likely only serve to add more speculation to the alleged feud reports.
