Donald Trump Looks Like A ‘Penguin’ When He Stands; Netizens Speculate Why

Donald Trump is continuously being mocked over the way that he stands.

Two months ago, “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah made fun of the POTUS by saying that the way he stands makes him look like a penguin who just had butt implants.

Noah also joked about asking a posture expert where Trump’s weird stand came from. The man teased the POTUS about standing with his butt popping out. He also said that it is common for President Trump to curve his spine and raise both of his arms up.

The POTUS’s shoulders have also been dubbed as the “Frankenstein shoulders, and his hands seem as though he’s carrying a briefcase that just got caught on fire.

President Trump was also teased on the show over the way that he sits. He is known for sitting with both of his hands in between his legs in a triangular position.

On the online forum site Quora, some netizens speculated on why they think the POTUS moves and stands so strangely. Jon Mixon, a maintenance scheduler, said that there are a number of reasons why this is the case.

“He wears elevator shoes. He wears a mirdle or a girdle for men. His knees are likely strained, his back seems to be problematic, and he’s most likely tired all the time,” he said.

“I think the difference between then and today is significant [but not severe or debilitating] cognitive decline. Today he looks awkward, but I think the reason he’s been so politically successful despite this decline is that he’s an innately good actor,” David Muccigrosso, a scientist, and a student, said.

“I think Trump is a very practiced poser. He carefully crafts his look. His look is intentional from his posture, hand gestures and head position to his long ties and narrow, uncomfortable-looking shoes and size-too-large suit jackets,” Carol Hamburg, a BA History graduate said.

On Twitter, some netizens couldn’t also help but wonder if there’s something wrong with the POTUS.

“Are you helping @realDonaldTrump walk and stand @FLOTUS??? It looks strange. Is he unable to walk?” Twitter user @TravelingUS said.

“Can you ask him about his back next time? Why does he stand like that with his butt out? Looks so strange & painful,” Twitter user @MelanieNaylor7 said.
