Donald Trump and Melania Trump don’t always agree on things, and their stand on certain matters differ. But there was one occasion where the POTUS agreed with his wife during an interview.

While speaking with ABC News months before the 2016 elections, the Trumps were asked about the controversial Access Hollywood tape wherein the POTUS could be heard making some lewd comments about women while he was married to the FLOTUS.

Interviewer George Stephanopoulos asked the first lady if she was OK with the fact that her husband apologized to her for the leaked tape but not about the women that he mentioned. Melania shockingly said that they were all lies.

“And as I said before, all the accusations, they should be handled in the court of law,” the FLOTUS said.

Melania went on to say that she thinks the lawsuits that they filed should go forward because accusing somebody without hard evidence could be very hurtful.

“And it's very damaging and unfair. And-- but honestly, do we still need to talk about that? I think American people want to hear the problems that we have in America,” she said.

Upon hearing this, the POTUS agreed with his wife. He also said that he cannot apologize for something that he didn’t do or that never took place. The FLOTUS encouraged the interviewer to ask about things that could make America better like jobs and securing the border.

Meanwhile, rumors about Trump cheating on Melania have been rife for years. As early as 2006, the POTUS was accused of having an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels.

Ten years later, it was reported that Trump paid the porn star $130,000 to make sure that she wouldn’t say anything on the eve of the election. According to The New York Times, the FLOTUS was blindsided by the allegations, and she was also furious at her husband.

When asked to address Trump’s infidelity in 2018, Melania told “Good Morning America” that there are more important things to talk about. She also said that the rumors don’t concern her since the most important thing is that she and her husband are fine.
