  • Melania Trump is reportedly smart but she's not especially clever
  • Melania Trump is a suitable helper for Donald Trump
  • Donald Trump and Melania Trump's marriage works because of the FLOTUS's upbringing

Melania Trump was previously described by one of her childhood friends in Slovenia as someone who is smart.

While speaking with GQ, the first lady’s pal, who refused to reveal her identity, said that the FLOTUS is well-educated just like Jackie Kennedy.

“She’s smart for the things she’s interested in, like jewelry. She’s not stupid, she’s not a bimbo, but she’s not especially clever,” the friend said.

One of the things that Melania is passionate about is designing jewelry. Donald Trump’s wife was reportedly the one who sketched the designs for her collection that sold out 45 minutes after its launch at QVC.

The first lady also has a talent for drawing, and she once launched a range of anti-aging creams that did not do as well as her jewelry line.

Meanwhile, Vladimira Tomšič, who went to the same school as the FLOTUS, said that the latter’s upbringing helps explain her marriage to the POTUS.

“The secret of why he’s with her is her traditional values and the importance of family to her,” she said.

Tomšič also called the first lady the perfect “help meet” and Trump’s “suitable partner.” However, the first couple’s marriage hasn’t always been easy.

Two years ago, Melania shared details about her marriage to Trump during her interview with ABC News. At that time, the POTUS’s alleged affair made headlines, and the FLOTUS said that this isn’t something that concerns her.

But after Trump’s alleged affair was unearthed, Melania opted to skip one of the engagements she’s supposed to attend with her husband. She and Trump also arrived at another event separately. And when Trump was introduced and welcomed by loud cheers and a standing ovation from the crown, the FLOTUS opted to stay seated.

When the interviewer asked Melania if she loves the POTUS, she said yes with a smile. She also assured everyone that their marriage is going well despite claims that they will soon get divorced.
