Dr. Phil may be going through some separation anxiety after the talk show host reportedly had his classic car worth $100,000 stolen from a California repair shop.

Dr. Phil - full name Dr. Phil McGraw - was trying to revive the transmission on his '57 Chevy but was unsuccessful, so he had the $100,000 classic car sent to a repair shop in Burbank, Calif., TMZ reported.

Hours after the car was in the shop, the business told McGraw, 61, that his prized vehicle had been nabbed, the website reported.

Police are investigating the case and told CBS Los Angeles that the thieves broke through the repair shop's roll-up door to access the '57 Chevy and drive away in the classic car.

Dr. Phil's car was a black '57 Chevy with white and silver trim. It had a V8 engine, according to United Press International.

McGraw parlayed success as a frequent guest on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" into his own talk show on CBS that airs weekdays at 3 p.m.

Dr. Phil bills himself as "perhaps the most well-known mental health professional in the world," according to the bio on his website.

"Dr. Phil" episodes airing this week include shows on infidelity, drug addiction, child abuse, and an out-of-control mother.
