A drunk 19-year-old teen was taken into custody after he broke into a Milwaukee, Wisconsin house that was being rented out by three out-of-town police officers.

Deputy Charles Pesola said he and his fellow Montana officers were in the area for police training and were not expecting for any crimes to happen in their Airbnb, WISN reported.

In a post on social media platform TikTok, Pelosa recounted the events of the incident saying he heard noise upstairs of their rental home at around 2:30 a.m. and thought it was one of his fellow officers going to the bathroom.

The deputies realized there was an intruder when they found the back door open, which led them to discover the drunk teenager sleeping on one of the beds.

"Dude broke into the house in the middle of the night," Pesola said in the video that has received over 175 thousand views as of press time. "This silly guy found the one Airbnb in all of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin," he remarked before adding that the teen "woke up in handcuffs."

One of the officers told WISN in an interview that the teenager "had no idea where he was. He had no idea where he thought he was, and he didn't know where he came from."

The group contacted the Milwaukee Police Department following the encounter, who then arrived and took him into custody.

"This is a first for that, I've woken up in random places," the teen was heard telling responding officers in the video.

A follow-up video on Pesola's @sheriffk9misty TikTok account explained that the deputies did not pursue charges against the teen and that he was not sent to jail. Pelosa said he instead received "a ride to wherever he needed to be" from police.

Pelosa said the the teenager was lucky he stumbled into the police officers, as per WISN.

"What if that dude stumbled into a bed with a kid, or my wife. I mean, it could have been a different morning, right? So wrong place, wrong time, lucky place, lucky time, that there's dudes that actually know how to handle that," he said.
