Look out America, there's a new royal baby in town (or soon to be). Meghan Markle is reportedly planning to bring baby Archie to New York City.

A royal insider notified US Weekly of the Duchess of Sussex's plans, stating, "Duchess Meghan is 'planning on coming to the States' with her son", and "the destination will 'most likely' be New York City". The source goes on to mention that, "As of now, the plan is for this to take place sometime over the summer."

Although concrete plans for Markle and baby haven't been revealed yet, surely some of her celebrity friends will be involved. In February, the former "Suits" actress attended a star-studded baby shower in New York City. Harper's Bazaar reported that stars like Gayle King, Amal Clooney and, of course, her bestie Jessica Mulroney were in attendance when they all were seen arriving at The Mark Hotel.

The shower, which her friend Serena Williams hosted, "was a chance for Meg to share excitement of the baby with her closest friends, some of which she hadn’t seen for some time", an insider shared with ELLE.com. Surely most, if not all, of these same attendees will want to see their friend and her precious newborn son.

Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their son Archie Harrison, who is seventh in line to the British royal throne, on May 6. Archie is the first for the couple.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex whirlwind romance first began in 2016 before becoming engaged in November 2017 and married just six months later in May 2018 at St. George's Chaple, Windsor Castle.
