Every day it seems like there is a new rumor about Dwight Howard being traded.

The latest has the center being moved to the Nets in a three-team deal that involves the Warriors.

Peter Vecsey of the New York Post says there are rumblings about a deal that would send Howard to New Jersey, Brook Lopez to Golden State and Monta Ellis to Orlando.

Brook Lopez has often been talked about in trade possibilities with Dwight Howard, but almost all of them put him in Orlando.

After rumors earlier in the year had the Nets as favorites to land Howard in a deal for Lopez, the center suffered an injury that kept him out almost the entire first half of the season. Lopez is averaging 12 points and three rebounds per game in just two games this season.

Monta Ellis has been speculated to be on the block since the Warriors drafted Stephon Curry. Ellis is averaging 22.4 points and 5.8 assists per game for Golden State this season. The guard has struggled somewhat this year, shooting less than 38 percent from the field.

Moving Ellis would not come as a surprise. First-year head coach, Mark Jackson, has stressed the importance of defense since taking over the club. Ellis is known as one of the worst defenders in the league.

Howard would like to be traded to Lakers, Mavericks, or Nets. Reports say he prefers to be moved to New Jersey over any other destination.
