The Emmy Awards are just days away and fans around the globe are already throwing out their predictions about which shows will bring home the most statuettes.

The nominations are stacked in the favor of HBO shows “Game of Thrones” and “Veep,” but there are several other serious contenders. “Dancing With the Stars,” “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” “The People v. O.J. Simpson” as well as a whole slurry of actors and actresses including Viola Davis, Ellie Kemper and Jeffrey Tambor are listed among the more than 30 nominees. The announcement was made in July, but we recognize that in this fast-paced age it’s easy to forget.
