Ex-Porn Star Mia Khalifa Shares Things She Did Against Porn Stigma: Twitter Reacts

Mia Khalifa shared the things she did to move on from the porn stigma while complaining about how many people still refer to her as a porn star.

Khalifa only joined the adult industry for three months and made 11 videos. However, she has been tagged as a “porn star” due to her short stint in the porn industry.

Now she wants everyone to move on from her past, and she slammed those who still refer to her as a porn star. She also pointed out the things she did to end the porn stigma.

According to Khalifa, she did other activities longer than her porn stint, like hosting a sports show, Twitch streaming, starting a YouTube channel, sports betting punditry, social media marketing, developing apps and activism. She also mentioned TikTok. Khalifa loves TikTok and even engages with other TikTok users regularly.

Despite all these things, she is furious that many still refer to her as a “porn star.” Khalifa’s tweet received various reactions from other netizens. Several explained to her why she is still associated with her past career.

“Hate to break it to you but sometimes peoples past IS inescapable. Its not a dig at you, but you can't just take bad decisions the same way I can't take back my bad decisions. Some things follow us forever, that is the price of those decisions,” one commented.

“You’re known for one thing, you used that fame to do the things you just listed. Seems pretty straight forward,” @terrybrozier added.

“Kobe has an Oscar still he’s known as a basketball player. Jayz is a business man still known as a rapper. People will remember you by what made you famous,” @youngpapibrugal explained to Khalifa.

Meanwhile, several advised Khalifa to change her name because she is still using the same moniker she used in the porn industry. Others also showed their love to her by dropping sweet messages to help ease her burden.
