If you missed out on pre-ordering the “Fallout 4” Pip-Boy Collector’s Edition developer and publisher Bethesda has some bad news for you, the manufacturer can’t make any more – even though Bethesda basically begged them.

The factory has told Bethesda that it is physically unable to meet demand, Bethesda’s marketing vice president Pete Hines told GameSpot at QuakeCon.

“We’d go back and say, ‘Demand for this is insane, we’ve got to make more.’ And [the factory would] move other projects off or shift stuff to other factories and it just came to ‘Final answer: sorry, this is as many as we can make,’” said Hines.

The “Fallout 4” Pip-Boy Collector’s Edition includes a replica Pip-Boy that can hold a phone, allowing users to use the menu screen from their wrist, as well as other items like a special case and poster.

Bethesda isn’t intentionally trying to keep the edition rare either, with Hines saying that they ordered so many that it eclipsed all of Bethesda’s limited edition releases so far.

The special edition was available for pre-order for around $120, but is already sold out in North America and the UK, and is already showing up for re-sale on Amazon for around $450.
