Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) are getting married in "Fifty Shades Freed."

On Sunday, Fifty Shades released the first trailer for the third movie of the trilogy franchise. The clip features the wedding of Christian and Anastasia. The scene opens with Christian's voiceover saying his romantic vows as Anastasia gets dressed for the wedding.

The scene cuts into the couple's steamy honeymoon. The newlyweds enjoy Christan's vast fortune and engage in their kinky games that make the franchise a hit. But the storyline in "Fifty Shades Freed" will be more than about marital bliss for the two.

Things get awry when Jack (Erick Johnson) returns for Anastasia. The last scene shows Jack holding a knife against Anastasia's throat.

Aside from releasing a one-minute teaser promo, the franchise also shared a new poster featuring Anastasia in her wedding gown on Twitter. The tagline reads "Mrs. Grey will see you now."

"Fifty Shades Freed" is directed by James Foley. The script is written by Niall Leonard. The trilogy is based on E.L. James' books.

Johnson opened up about her character in the hit franchise. According to her, she loves the franchise because it has a "cool story." She also addressed the issue that she and her leading man, Dornan, have an affair. "We hate each other and we're having an affair, so everybody's right. How about that?" she told Vogue.

Johnson and Dornan are not feuding either. In fact, they work well together especially when it comes to the sensitive scenes of the movie.

"Jamie and I worked so incredibly closely for so long," Johnson continued. "There were no inhibitions, and it was very honest, very trusting. But I mean, what a gamble! What if he had turned out to be a total [explicit]? There's no makeup. There are no clothes to tell you a bit about the story. There's no jewelry to give you a clue about social status. So it becomes purely about the performance."

The first two movies of the franchise, "Fifty Shades of Grey" and "Fifty Shades Darker" grossed $949.8 million worldwide. The movie series is expected to become a billion-dollar franchise once its third film, "Fifty Shades Freed" hits the big screen, Variety reported.

"Fifty Shades Freed" will be released on Feb. 9, 2018.
