Nikki Bella revealed on her reality show "Total Divas" that she is leaving the WWE after over 10 years. The past few years have been quite a transitional time period for the 35-year-old, who just last year ended her engagement with fellow professional wrestler John Cena after dating since 2012.

On her show, reports TMZ, Bella spoke about her choice to retire, stating that she came to the decision after taking a recent tour in Europe. "[The tour] was good but I just feel like I'm too old for that travel."

She continued, "The travel was really, really rough. So, I realized, I was like, why am I doing this? I don't feel good."

Bella added that the rest of the women in WWE are making strides in the industry, making her even more convinced that she is "ready to hang up the jersey."

And Bella is not the only one who is ready for a change in her life, as her twin sister, Brie, also announced her retirement earlier this month. Now, Nikki wants to focus primarily on her other businesses, which she has plenty of, including a wine collaboration with Hill Family Estates and Gauge Branding, Birdiebee, a lifestyle intimate and activewear brand, and Nicole + Brizee, a body and beauty line.

"Here's to closing one chapter and the next one opening," Nikki said.
