“The Flash” actor Carlos Valdes has nothing but good words to say about his new co-star, Tom Felton.

During a Q&A session with the press at the Dragon Con in Atlanta over the Labor Day weekend, Valdes gushed about Felton, who was cast as a series regular in the upcoming Season 3 of the CW series.

“Tom is the best,” Valdes, 27, said (via Comics Beat) of Felton when asked how it has been working with the “Harry Potter” alum. “I’ve hung out with him a couple of times, and he’s such an interesting dude. I’m learning a lot about photography and working with his cameras, because he takes pictures all the time and is an enthusiast.”

Valdes added that he and “The Flash” lead actor Grant Gustin are inspired by the work Felton brings on the set of the CW series.

“He’s been working with [Grant] a lot recently, and the stuff that Grant has had to share about working with Tom has just been so — there’s so much love there,” said Valdes, who plays Cisco Ramon on the show. “He works hard and he’s super smart and incredibly talented. I’m excited to see … how fans react to it.”

As reported by TVLine last June, Felton — who is best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the eight installments of the “Harry Potter” film series — will play Julian Dorn, a CSI at the Central City Police Department who suspects there’s more to Barry Allen (Gustin) than just his good guy reputation.

The casting call for Felton’s role, which was obtained by TVLine last May, revealed that the new character eventually “sets out to learn what Barry is hiding — all while concealing some secrets of his own.”

In an interview with SciFiNow late last month, Felton said that Julian and Barry have an “abrasive relationship” at the beginning of the new installment.

“He’s a forensic expert, so he treads on the toes of much of what Barry is good at. Hence, they have a slightly abrasive relationship at first,” the 28-year-old British actor teased. “I say abrasive, but I mean that — clearly because of the events of the season — none of the relationships that Barry has had with other cast members is the same.”

“He’s not familiar with me, but I’m familiar with him, so it’s an odd dynamic,” he added. “It seems like a love/hate thing at first.”
