“Flip or Flop” might be canceled after Christina and Tarek El Moussa announced their separation last week. The couple stars in an HGTV reality show where they fix up houses and try to resell them.

The show will definitely last into the New Year, but the fate of the show beyond that is unknown. “Flip or Flop” will continue to fill contractual obligations. “The show will end after that,” an insider told E! Online Monday.

Christina didn’t focus on the show after her split, but instead spent time with her son, 16-month-old Brayden. “Even on my roughest days he always brings a smile to my face.#BraydenJames you make our lives complete,” she wrote on Instagram Monday, captioning a video that showed Brayden laughing. The video was viewed more than 180,000 times by her 589,000 followers.

In her next post, she shared a picture of her 6-year-old daughter, Taylor. “I love #TaylorReese and her gorgeous (sometimes messy) hair,” Christina wrote Tuesday. “I want her to grow up feeling confident in her hair, so I tell her how beautiful it is every day!”

Christina, 33, and Tarek, 35, promised to co-parent their two children. “During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” the former couple said in a statement together. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”

HGTV did not announce if “Flip of Flop” was canceled. “We admire and appreciate Tarek and Christina’s great work on ‘Flip or Flop.’ When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children,” the network said in an official statement last week. “HGTV is currently airing episodes of ‘Flip or Flop’ and the series will continue production as scheduled.”

The couple reportedly split in May 23 after an altercation that involved a gun. Nearly a dozen police cars and a helicopter were dispatched after Tarek went into the woods with a firearm. He later said he was not suicidal, but just wanted to blow off some steam.

“Flip or Flop” airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on HGTV.
