Florence Pugh has just landed another lead role in a new big screen project, making her one of the most in-demand actresses at the moment.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news Wednesday that Pugh, 25, has been chosen to star in the movie adaptation of Emma Donoghue’s “The Wonder,” a psychological thriller set in the author’s homeland, Ireland.

In the film, Pugh is portraying Lib Wright, an English nurse summoned to a tiny village in the Irish Midlands in 1859. Wright is tasked to look after an 11-year-old girl, named Anna O’Donnell, who strangely survived without consuming any food for months.

Donoghue’s ninth novel is being adapted into a feature film with Element Pictures and House Productions. The script was penned by Alice Birch while Ed Guiney and Tessa Ross are producing. “A Fantastic Woman” director Sebastián Lelio has been tapped to helm the project.

The news comes ahead of the release of Pugh’s other movie, Marvel’s “Black Widow,” this July. In the flick, Pugh plays the role of a spy called Yelena Belova, who is expected to reunite with Scarlet Johansson’s Natasha Romanov and David Harbour’s Red Guardian.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pugh’s co-star O-T Fagbenle praised the actress’ performance in the film saying, “… I’m really excited to see that my homie, Florence Push, smashes it. She’s so good.”

Pugh made such a huge buzz in the industry after showcasing her acting prowess in “Midsommar” and “Little Women.” And now, aside from “Black Widow” and “The Wonder,” she’s bound to get busy with her other acting commitments.

She recently started her work as the lead star in New Line’s “Don’t Worry Darling” that is being directed by Olivia Wilde. She is also set to start filming “Good Person” by the end of the year with her boyfriend Zach Braff sitting on the director’s chair. She is also attached to other projects including “Dolly” and “The Maid,” according to Deadline.

Despite her busy schedule, Pugh still finds time to be with her family. Over the weekend, the Oscar-nominated actress was spotted spending her down time with her father Clinton Pugh at the latter’s restaurant on Cowley Road in Oxford, U.K.

She even took some snaps of her reunion with her father and shared them on her Instagram. She also proudly promoted her father’s food establishment to her fans on the social media platform.

“Meet Mr. Pugh.. the man of Dawson Street. We all grew up in Cafe Coco and Kazbar, so it’s always so sentimental and a total treat to come back and be home again. Head over to the Sunny Side of Oxford and go get yourself a table full of tapas and mojitos, I nominated myself (haha) to try a few last night and this morning and was so nice to be back in my old stomping ground,” she wrote in the caption.
