19-year-old Jamie Lee Kettering was identified by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office as the victim in the shooting that took place at an apartment complex in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday.

According to CBS affiliate WKMG-TV, a caller dialed 911 to alert the authorities about the shooting and responders found Kettering with a gunshot wound. Medics then pronounced her dead on the scene.

Authorities have launched an investigation into Kettering’s death. As of writing, no further details have been provided regarding the shooting. There is also no information yet about the suspected shooter and the motive for the shooting.

Kettering was at the Polos East Apartments’ Advenir on Woodbury Road when the shooting took place at around 12:30 a.m. It is unclear whether the caller who notified the police was a neighbor.

There were not much details released regarding Kettering’s background and it is unclear whether there was anyone else besides her and the suspect who were at the apartment when the shooting took place.

This is not the first shooting in Orange County that occurred over the past few weeks.

Five days before the latest shooting, the Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation on two overnight shootings that happened subsequently, with one taking place at South Orange Blossom Trail’s Kwik Shop, and the other one at the Aristotle Avenue.

The first victim on Aristotle Avenue was found with a gunshot wound and was transported immediately to the hospital but he was pronounced dead upon arrival, FOX affiliate WOFL reported.

The victim at the Kwik Shop, on the other hand, was shot by a yet-to-be-identified suspect. The 21-year-old victim sustained injuries from the gunshot wound but he was treated at the hospital and has since been on stable condition.

Local detectives are still looking into the two shootings while authorities search for the suspects in the shootings.

Meanwhile, another person was killed in Pine Hills Road over the weekend following a shooting that took place near Orange County’s Evans High School.

According to NBC affiliate WESH, deputies were called to a shooting incident to Belco Drive at around 2:15 a.m. Responders found a 26-year-old male with a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to the hospital where he later died.

Authorities have yet to release more information about the victim, the suspect, and the motive for the shooting. A probe has been launched into the incident.
