A veteran Tampa sports talk radio broadcaster was arrested Wednesday on charges of transmitting harmful material to a minor, using a computer device to solicit a minor and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Justin Pawlowski, 37, of St. Petersburg, allegedly tried to send a photo of his genitals to "what he believed to be a 14-year-old boy," according to Tampa police.

Tampa police added that he "also expressed interest in meeting with the child on several occasions and suggested he was interested in engaging in sexual acts with him."

Sheriff’s deputies booked Pawlowski into Pinellas County jail. He was later released after posting $6,000 bail.

Pawlowski hosted his sports show on WDAE-AM 620 and later worked the Buccaneers Radio Network for two seasons.

In addition to working on the radio, Pawlowski also produced his own podcast, Bucs Uncensored, which is hosted on JoeBucsFan.com.

A post on the website addressed the Pawlowski's arrest.

"Of course, Joe is completely stunned by the charges and certainly doesn’t condone anything related to these charges in any way. Joe wants to see the legal system ruling and arrest affidavits before rushing to a firm public judgment," the statement reads.

The podcast has been suspended.
